We start with routine, not style: who wakes first, where shoes land, which rooms have to absorb guests, how much of the day is spent cooking. The plan follows that, and the house stops fighting its occupants.
Light, air and the Chennai climate
Cross ventilation, shaded openings, deep reveals, courtyards where the site allows. Comfort designed into the fabric means less reliance on machinery and a house that stays pleasant during a long summer.
Storage that disappears
Most homes are undone by things with nowhere to go. We draw storage into the architecture — full-height joinery, considered thresholds, quiet detailing — so rooms stay calm without becoming precious.
